Editorial Policy

Fit Life Ace publishes general health, wellness, nutrition and fitness information. This page explains how we write and update it, so you can judge how far to trust it.

Where our facts come from

  • For health claims we use primary sources: the CDC, the WHO, the US Surgeon General, the NHS, MedlinePlus and peer-reviewed studies.
  • We open and read each source page ourselves before citing it. We do not rely on search snippets or on other blogs.
  • Every post lists its sources at the end, with links.
  • When research is about smoking and not vaping (or the other way round), we say so.

How we write

  • Plain, friendly language at about a grade 7 reading level.
  • The direct answer comes first, then the detail.
  • We say what is not known. We do not make medical promises, and we do not use fear to get clicks.
  • We never describe vaping or smoking in a way that glamorises it.

Updates and corrections

  • Each post shows a “Last updated” date. We change the date only when the content really changes.
  • If you find a mistake, write to us from the Contact page and we will check it and fix it.

Who writes the posts

Posts are written and edited by Puneet Bawa, founder of QuitAce, with research and drafting support from AI tools. Puneet is not a doctor. Our posts are not medical advice. See our medical disclaimer.

Advertising and our own app

Some posts mention QuitAce, our quit-vaping app. We say so clearly, and the health facts in a post do not depend on the app.
